Denis von Sabre Style hat mich heute auf eine sehr coole sozialpolitisch korrekte Aktion von Magmo aufmerksam gemacht.

Save Ocean

The Ocean Life illustrations are for a picture book intended to help raise public awareness of the problems and solutions of ocean pollution. The illustrations will be combined with a short story that will suggest ways for humans to keep our ocean clean and happy for everyone to enjoy.The illustrations depict a variety of sea life living with pollution. The pollution has been abstracted into colors, shapes, and patterns that flow throughout the compositions and surround the animals creating a very unnatural, abnormal and toxic environment. Unfortunately the ocean has been plagued by pollution from the numerous environmental mistakes humans have made in the past to our present day. Polluting the ocean has a direct negative impact on ocean life, human health, and the future of our earth. The illustrations are based on popular ocean life that are essential in a happy ecosystem; whales, turtles, jellyfish, cranes, plankton, seals, fish, crabs, sea urchins, and coral beds.

Magmo would like The Ocean Life Series to evolve into a variety of creative efforts intended to help our oceans, for example; fundraising, educational campaigns, gallery exhibits, and youth programs. Magmo is looking for publishers, environmental organizations, and/or sponsors who would be interested in collaborating and developing this project further.
