Thank you for the votes and comments. It has been a nice welcome to ABT. Even if this piece doesn't place, I'll try to submit more in the future. My father, who works as an engineer at Mercedes in Birmingham, said that he noticed a similarity between my heritage, Japanese, and German. I hope it doesn't sound like a glaring generality, but he said both the cultures have an appreciation for attention to detail. If that is true, my style of art, which is usually cluttered with detail, maybe too much, might be a good match for ABT. Other sites are geared towards cute and cartoony. We'll see.
